The platform can be sponsored. The conversation cannot be bought.
Sponsors and event tickets fund the production. Microsoft sponsored advisor.TV during the Chicago era and never crossed into editorial influence. That standard holds for every sponsor on the network. A sponsor may appear when editorial finds them relevant, and sponsorship never guarantees it. Curation is the only filter, and no amount of money changes that.

Conversation
If we want to move forward, we schedule a short call. For nominations: 15 minute call to confirm details. For host applications: 30 minute call about vertical and format. For sponsor inquiries: 30 minute call about tier fit and goals.
Step 03
Decision
Nominated businesses get added to The Record with a drafted profile. Approved hosts get a production kickoff with idea2result. Confirmed sponsors get a contract and brand placement plan.

Which shows are running?
Driven (Aidan Fridman) is now airing. What We Pass On (Adam Fridman), Acquisitions in Jax (Brad Hettich), Coming to America (Veronica Wilen), and Runway (Dave Eyerly) are in production. House Calls is casting a host. The Civic Series, recorded in Chicago, is complete and watchable now.
Can I nominate someone else's business?
Yes, and we encourage it. Some of the strongest businesses on The Record will be nominated by their peers, not by themselves. We'll reach out to the business to confirm.
I am a sponsor. Do I have any editorial influence?
No. Microsoft sponsored advisor.TV during the Chicago era for years and never crossed into editorial. The same standard holds for every sponsor. You may appear when the editorial team finds you relevant. The platform can be sponsored. The conversation cannot be bought.
What if I don't hear back?
We respond to every submission. Check your spam folder first. If 14 days have passed for a nomination or host application (or 5 business days for a sponsor inquiry), email us directly and we will follow up.
How do you curate?
Three filters. Growth (is the business growing in revenue, team, footprint, or impact). Story (is there something genuinely interesting in how the business is being built). Impact (does the business shape its industry or category). All three must be true.
