Hosting
Jacksonville is being built right now. Almost none of it is on the record.
advisor.TV is casting respected operators to host the conversations their industry is missing. You bring the judgment and the people. We produce everything else.
41 seconds
If you had your own show in Jacksonville, who would you call.
Why advisor.TV is coming to Jacksonville, what hosting actually involves, and the one rule that makes the whole thing work.
- More than 1,000 conversations since 2014
- 410 browsable in the archive
- Microsoft sponsored the Chicago years
- Mabbly is the founding Jacksonville sponsor
- Studio at AcceleratePV in Ponte Vedra
What hosting actually is
This is not a podcast.
01
You are not creating content.
You are convening a conversation your industry needs and nobody has recorded. The show is the reason the right person says yes to an hour.
02
You do not need experience on camera.
You need standing, curiosity and a phone full of people worth an hour. The subject can be taught. Access and judgment cannot.
03
You do not run the production.
advisor.TV handles research, booking, studio, direction, editing, publishing and distribution. You show up and host.
04
You do not sell anything.
The chair is editorial. Nothing you say on the show is a pitch, and that is exactly why the guests come.
Nobody builds alone. Every important company was built with help, and the decisions that made it possible deserve to be documented.
Now recording from the studio

Explore the showHow hosting starts
Start with two episodes, not a commitment.
Step 1
Idea
You bring a vertical you already know and the people inside it.
Step 2
Two episode pilot
We produce two episodes end to end. You host.
Step 3
Greenlight
If the conversations work, the show moves forward.
Step 4
Twelve episode season
Twelve episodes, two a month across six months.
Nothing here promises a permanent show. A pilot earns a season, and a season earns the next one.
How it works and who pays
What it costs you. Nothing.
- 01
Mabbly funds the first two episodes for every approved host. Adam Fridman co founded Mabbly and it funds this work because Jacksonville is worth documenting.
- 02
After the pilot, if the conversations are strong, the show is greenlit for a season. A season is twelve episodes, two a month across six months. A sponsorship runs twelve months, which is two seasons. The season is funded one of two ways. Mabbly continues as the sponsor, or advisor.TV brings in a category sponsor whose business belongs near that conversation.
- 03
Either way the host never pays and the host is never asked to sell sponsorship. Finding the sponsor is our job.
- 04
A sponsor funds the platform. A sponsor never chooses guests, never sees questions and never shapes what is said.

- Editorial judgment
The standard
How we choose.
- 01
Jacksonville based or carrying a deep Jacksonville network.
- 02
A respected operator, not a coach or a consultant alone.
- 03
Real access to guests worth an hour in that vertical.
- 04
Willing to commit to two episodes a month once a season is greenlit.
- 05
No expectation of controlling editorial.
A host is chosen on standing and access. A host is never chosen because of who pays.
How we hostThe platform can be sponsored. The conversation cannot be bought.
