Saving time.

Host Jackson Skigen on the hours ultra-high-net-worth clients will pay almost anything to buy back — and how they spend them.

CEO, Atlas Air Ambulance

Watch

A day in the sky with Atlas.

The premise

The rich aren't buying jets. They're buying hours.

Skip the terminal. Skip the security line. Skip the layover, the rental car, the hotel the night before. Land at the private ramp three minutes from the meeting.

Saving Time is a show about the people who have made time itself their most expensive purchase — and the operators, pilots, chiefs of staff, and concierges who deliver it. What does an average Tuesday actually look like at the top? What did it cost to get there? And what would they pay to get another hour back?

About the host

Chief Executive Officer

Medical evacuation · Private charter

I sell time. Sometimes it's the last time someone has.

I run Atlas Air Ambulance. Half of our flights are the ones you don't want to be on — a patient in a hospital bed at 30,000 feet, a nurse and a physician in the cabin, the family behind us in the back row. The other half are the ones people fight over — a charter to a board meeting, a wedding, a closing dinner, a Tuesday in Aspen.

Both customers are buying the same thing: they don't want to spend their day at an airport. On the medical side, they can't. On the charter side, they refuse to. Every call I take is a variation on how much would you pay to get this hour back?

Saving Time is that conversation, on the record. We're going to walk through an average day at the top — the calendar, the staff, the aircraft, the tradeoffs — with the founders, family-office principals, and CEOs who actually live it.

What we cover

Four questions, every episode.

01

The calendar

What a Tuesday actually looks like when nobody sits in traffic and nothing waits in a security line.

02

The staff

Chiefs of staff, family office CFOs, pilots, concierges — the people who make the day happen.

03

The aircraft

Charter vs. fractional vs. owned. Medical evac. The economics of a jet card most people don't understand.

04

The tradeoffs

What time actually costs. What people give up to buy it. And what they wish they'd bought back sooner.
