Scaling good.

Host Christine H., CTO of Argenta, on how AI is giving nonprofits back their time.

The premise

Nonprofits shouldn't have to choose between doing the work and doing the paperwork.

Every mission-driven team runs into the same wall. The cause is urgent. The staff is small. The spreadsheets are endless.

Scaling Good is a series about the operators, engineers, and executive directors using AI and modern software to give that time back — so nonprofits can spend more of their day on the mission, and less of it on the ledger.

About the host

10 years · nonprofit & political CRM

I build software so nonprofits can get back to the mission.

Jacksonville, FL

I'm a software engineer with almost two decades in the field, and for the last ten of them I've been building Argenta — an all-in-one CRM that helps nonprofits and political organizations do more with the hours they actually have.

What started as an idea about affordable, integrated tooling for teams that could never justify enterprise software has grown into a platform that runs donations, memberships, events, volunteers, and fund accounting — all in one place, at a price a small development office can live with.

The last two years have changed everything. AI can now draft the appeal, reconcile the ledger, dedupe the supporter list, and answer a donor's midnight email — work that used to take a full-time person. The question isn't whether nonprofits should use it. It's how.

Scaling Good is the show I've wanted to make since the first time an executive director told me she was going to lose a program because she couldn't hire another admin. We're going to talk to the people figuring it out — and share exactly what's working.
